How the Facial GuaSha Work ?

Main Steps of a Facial Gua Sha Session

1. Preparation Stage

  • Cleanse Your Face: Use a gentle facial cleanser to remove any makeup, dirt, or oil.
  • Apply Facial Oil or Serum: Use a suitable oil, such as rosehip oil, jojoba oil, or hyaluronic acid serum, to reduce friction and enhance absorption.
  • Choose the Right Gua Sha Tool: Select a jade, rose quartz, or buffalo horn Gua Sha tool, preferably in a heart or fish shape to fit the contours of your face.

    2. Gua Sha Techniques
  • Always move outward and upward with gentle pressure, repeating each stroke 5–10 times until the skin feels warm.

    1.Forehead:

  • Start from the center of your forehead and glide upward toward the hairline to relieve tension and smooth wrinkles.

    2.Eyebrow & Eye Area:

  • Use the smooth edge to slide from the inner brow outward along the brow bone toward the temple, helping to reduce puffiness and eye strain.

    3.Cheeks:

Begin at the sides of the nose and move outward along the cheekbones toward the ears to lift and improve circulation.
